Overview

The Cameroon Fintech Alliance (CFIA), the regulatory body for fintech in Cameroon, approached us to develop a brand identity reflecting their mission as a powerful, helpful, and innovative force.
 
They wanted a Strong mark that positioned them as the official reference for anything fintech in Cameroon.
 
They needed a design for social media and print materials to build partnerships with financial institutions.

Design Considerations

We balanced the client’s preferences with practical use cases, ensuring the mark remained legible and effective across various mediums, including low-budget printing and photocopying.

Design Process

  1. Client Brief and Goals:The client provided responses to our creative brief questionnaire, allowing us to develop an initial plan. We refined this plan through discussions with the client, setting clear goals for the project.
  2. Research and Moodboarding:We conducted research into the fintech space in Africa and Cameroon, alongside analyzing competitors, to gain insights. Based on this research and the client’s preferences, we created a moodboard to capture the client’s visual style and design direction.
  3. Brainstorming:Through multiple rounds of ideation and brainstorming, we generated several design concepts. After evaluating these ideas, we narrowed them down to three final options.

Logo Design Process

Working closely with the client and going through several iterations we were able to capture the clients unique knowledge and translate this to an identity helped them achieve their short term goals.
